Huisgenoot wants South African love stories for movie

To celebrate its century of publishing in 2016, Huisgenoot wants to produce a 'Huisgenoot movie, which will feature a true-life romantic love story from one of its readers. With the help of kykNET, the latest edition provides detailed guidelines for writing a typical romantic comedy script. Contestants need to write and send in their 3000-word epic love stories by Valentine's Day next year, which will then be judged by a panel of experts, before the winner's story is filmed and broadcast on M-NET and kykNET.
