Who we are: A leading distributor of kids clothing based in Johannesburg.
What we do: We provide fun and exciting designs within the children's fashion industry.
What we are looking for: A quirky mid-level to senior designer who has experience with various children's lifestyle products.
What you will do:- Designing and utilising character style guides to design for the various children-friendly brands
- Have a wide scope of design including being able to design generic characters from scratch
- Designing using brand for different products such as footwear, luggage, linen etc
- Follow procedures put in place using platforms such as Slack, Trello and Teams
- Working close with Merch & QA department, international factories – setting up of artwork, feeding back to QA etc.
What you must have:- Design experience with strong leadership potential
- Must be proficient in both Illustrator and Photoshop
- Graphic design/ fashion design qualification
- Designer specialising in either clothing, fashion, luggage, footwear or similar line of work
- Character product design background will be desirable (working with character licenses)
- Present a strong portfolio, displaying skills
